Nowadays when people hear the word “longevity”, they think of an anti-aging wrinkle cream or the latest anti-aging product that is supposed to make you look younger and add years to your life in an easy pop-the-pill-once-a-day sort of way. I’m amused by the mentality of thinking that adding something to your daily routine will stop you from aging. People could be eating junk food all their life, their idea of exercise involving the use of a remote control, and yet they expect a complete solution to all their accumulation of bad habits in a form of a new anti-aging therapy or a longevity-enhancing “secret” that had just been released to the masses.
